  • Medical assistance was immediately called after the player fell to the ground in the middle of the match, but they were unable to revive the athlete.
  • “Our defender Sylla Moustapha died this evening after an illness on the pitch. Management sends sincere condolences to his family. Rest in peace Moustapha. Rest in peace LION,” the team wrote on its official Twitter.
