- An ambulance immediately responded and drove onto the field to assist Gudelj, and then transported him to a nearby hospital once his condition had stabilized.
- Doctors performed CPR and successfully revived the player after performing on him for seven minutes, including a cardiac massage until the ambulance arrived.

BACKGROUND:
- Earlier this month, Ivorian soccer star Moustapha Sylla passed away after collapsing during a league game with RC Abidjan.
- Sylla was 21 years old and passed away during a game at Robert Champroux Stadium in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
- Medical assistance was immediately called after the player fell to the ground in the middle of the match, but they were unable to revive the athlete.
- “Our defender Sylla Moustapha died this evening after an illness on the pitch. Management sends sincere condolences to his family. Rest in peace Moustapha. Rest in peace LION,” the team wrote on its official Twitter.
