Tulsi Gabbard Revokes Security Clearances for Biden Officials

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard announced Monday that she has revoked security clearances for several top Biden administration officials and the 51 former intelligence officials who falsely claimed the Hunter Biden laptop was “Russian disinformation.”

Additionally, former President Joe Biden will no longer receive the President’s Daily Brief, the classified intelligence summary given to former presidents.

Gabbard shared the decision on social media, stating:

“Per @POTUS directive, I have revoked security clearances and barred access to classified information for Antony Blinken, Jake Sullivan, Lisa Monaco, Mark Zaid, Norman Eisen, Letitia James, Alvin Bragg, and Andrew Weissman, along with the 51 signers of the Hunter Biden ‘disinformation’ letter. The President’s Daily Brief is no longer being provided to former President Biden.”

The move follows an executive order signed by President Donald Trump on his first day back in office, instructing the DNI to revoke clearances for individuals who attempted to manipulate public opinion during the 2020 election.

Trump stated in the order:

“The signatories willfully weaponized the gravitas of the Intelligence Community to manipulate the political process and undermine our democratic institutions.”

He also called their actions an “egregious breach of trust,” comparing them to tactics used in third-world countries and warning that their deception damaged public trust in the intelligence community.

While Antony Blinken did not sign the letter, former CIA Acting Director Michael Morell testified before the House Judiciary Committee that Blinken, who was then a Biden campaign adviser, had contacted him regarding the laptop story, leading Morell to draft the disinformation letter.
