‘Trump Won’ Yard Sign Arsonist Identified as Jim White

JIM WHITE DISCOVERED:
  • An anonymous resident of Lodi, California, searched the internet and found the arsonist to be Jim White.
  • The individual found White’s Strava profile, a cycling website, and GPS.
  • The “timestamped maps of Jim’s rides” link to “the time stamps on the videos,” Kane tweeted.
  • Kane’s attorney filed a lawsuit against White, accusing him of trespassing, invasion of privacy, conversion, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
  • In a citation issued to White, an officer said White was “polite and cooperative” and “remorseful in what he did.”
BACKGROUND:

  • From 2012 to 2016 Kane was the Director of Investor Relations and as an Operating Partner at a North Carolina-based private equity investment firm.
  • From 2016-2022 John was Chairman and CEO of Capstone Event Group (CEG), an “owner and operator of mass participatory endurance events,” according to his campaign website.
