Trump Wins Iowa Caucuses

Donald Trump won the Iowa Caucuses on Monday night with 51% of the vote.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis finished with 21.2%, and Nikki Haley finished with 19.1% of the vote.

The GOP presidential contest will now move to New Hampshire on January 23.

Trump told Fox News Digital that he “felt great.”

“I am greatly honored by such an early call,” he said. “It really is an honor that, minutes after, they’ve announced I’ve won—against very credible competition—great competition, actually.”

“It is a tremendous thing and a tremendous feeling,” Trump noted.

“I feel really invigorated and strong for our country,” he added. “We want to Make America Great Again—the greatest slogan ever—and the fact is, that’s what we did.”

After Trump was projected to be the winner of the Iowa Caucuses, Donald Trump Jr. shared on X, “Well, that was fast. Thank you Iowa. Now let’s end this nonsense and go after the insanity that is today’s Democrat party. Enough is enough! It’s time to put America first for a change.”

Alex Pfieffer, the communications director for Make America Great Again, released a statement on the matter.

“The people of Iowa sent a clear message tonight: Donald Trump will be the next Republican nominee for President. It’s now time to make him the next President of the United States.”

“Joe Biden’s team just announced a massive war chest. Every dollar spent by President Trump’s primary losers is a dollar that could be fighting Joe Biden. Once the DC RINOs are finished crying in their cocktails over tonight’s results, it’s time for Nikki Haley, Ron DeSantis, and Vivek Ramaswamy to face reality and stop wasting time and resources.”
