Trump Warns of Rising Communism

President Donald Trump warned against the rise of communism in the United States during a speech at the Faith and Freedom Coalition Conference.

Trump said that communism first infiltrates a country by being “easy to sell.”

“But you’ll start living in squalor, there will be no food, there will be no housing, there will be no military, there will be no law and order, there will be no nothing,” he said. “You’ll be a third-world inhabitant in every way.”

“They will close your churches in this country, if they go communist, and they’re trying to,” Trump said. “They will kill your people, and that’s what they’re about. They want to end religion, they have to end religion, because their ideology doesn’t work if you have strong religion.” he added. “This is the greatest threat to our country since its founding, in my opinion, 250 years ago, what’s happening right now. It’s the greatest threat. People don’t look at it. Three people were elected. It’s many more than three people.”

President Trump made similar comments on Truth Social, warning that communists are “finally making their move.”

“I’ve been waiting and preparing for this for a long time. It’s easy to be a Communist — All you have to do is say, ‘I’ll give you everything,’ but that means you’re taking it away from others that have earned it,” he wrote. “Over thousands of years, that Ideology has not worked once. The game is on. Enjoy watching!”

Last year, Trump declared that the United States is “never going to be communist.”

Discussing the then-mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, who has since become Mayor of New York City, Trump said, “This guy is a communist at the highest level and he wants to destroy New York,” Trump noted. “I love New York and we’re not gonna let him do that. Generations of Americans before us did not shed their blood only so that we could surrender our country to Marxist lunatics on the eve of our 250th year.”

“As President of the United States, I am proclaiming here and now that America is never going to be communist in any way, shape, or form,” he declared. “And that includes New York City.”
