In a bold statement issued on July 14, 2023, Donald J. Trump, the 45th President of the United States, vehemently criticized President Joe Biden’s handling of the escalating conflict in Ukraine.
He also highlighted his intent to return to his “America First” foreign policy, aiming for peace through strength, if he were to be reelected.
In his statement, Trump pulled no punches in his appraisal of Biden’s mobilization of reserve forces, asserting that it proves “his reckless escalation in Ukraine is straining the U.S. military to the point of disaster.”
He referred to Biden’s recent admission regarding depleting arsenals, stating, “Biden shockingly admitted that our arsenals are so badly depleted that the United States is running out of ammunition.”
Trump expressed concerns over what he termed as Biden’s “calamitous policy in Europe,” suggesting it compromised security at home.
He lamented, “Now, we see the ranks are growing so thin that reserve troops are being forced to support Biden’s calamitous policy in Europe, while our own borders remain undefended.”
The former president also took a jab at Biden’s physical abilities, stating, “Joe Biden can’t even walk up the steps of Air Force One without tripping.”
Trump claimed that the Biden administration’s handling of the situation was pushing the nation “further toward World War Three.”
Trump expressed grave concerns over Biden’s stance on the Ukraine conflict, mentioning Biden’s proclaimed commitment to “continue sending American treasure and weaponry to fuel endless war in Ukraine for ‘as long as it takes’.”
In contrast, Trump promised a swift resolution to the conflict upon his reelection.
“When I am reelected, it will take 24 hours. This conflict must end. Not one American mother or father wants to send their child to die in Eastern Europe. We must have PEACE,” the 45th President said.
Asserting his readiness to lead once more, Trump stated his intent to “rebuild America’s military and restore the readiness and deterrence that Joe Biden has so dangerously squandered.”
His message emphasized his commitment to the “America First” policy that was a central theme during his presidency.
Trump concluded, “I will return to a foreign policy that puts AMERICA FIRST, so that we can once again have PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH.”
