On Tuesday, former president Donald Trump unveiled his plan to put an end to the chemical, physical, and emotional mutilation of American youth pushed by the far left and facilitated by the Biden administration.
He vowed to do away with the current government’s policies on “gender-affirming care,” and ensure that children are kept safe from potentially life-altering procedures.
“The left-wing gender insanity being pushed on our children is an act of child abuse,” Trump began. “On day one I will revoke Joe Biden’s cruel policies on so-called gender-affirming care … a process that includes giving kids puberty blockers, mutating their physical appearance, and ultimately performing surgery on minor children.”
Trump vowed to sign an executive order instructing all federal agencies to halt any program that promotes the very idea of sex or gender transitions at any age. He also said his administration would work with Congress to put an end to federal funding of the aforementioned procedures and make them illegal for children in all fifty states.
“I will declare,” Trump continued, “that any hospital or healthcare provider that participates in the chemical or physical mutilation of minor youth will no longer meet federal health and safety standards for Medicaid and Medicare, and will be terminated from the program immediately.”
Additionally, he promised to set up resources for victims to sue doctors who performed such procedures on children, and direct the Department of Justice to investigate the healthcare system and big pharma to see if they illegally marketed hormones or worked to cover up the long-term consequences to “get rich at the expense of vulnerable patients.”
Shifting his focus to the education system, Trump stated that his administration would ensure that “severe consequences” met any teacher who suggested to students that they could be “trapped in the wrong body.”
“As part of our new credentialing body for teachers,” Trump continued, “we will promote positive education about the nuclear family, the roles of mothers and fathers, and celebrating rather than erasing the things that make men and women different and unique.”
“No serious country,” he concluded, “should be telling its children that they were born with the wrong gender.”
