Trump Launches ‘Believers and Ballots’ Initiative

Former President Donald Trump launched a “Believers and Ballots” initiative to ensure Christians cast their vote in the 2024 Presidential Election.

The program aims to “deliver record turnout for President Donald J. Trump by organizing church congregations register voters in key battleground states, increase vote-by-mail and absentee ballots registrations amongst churchgoers, and mobilize congregations to vote early in-person, especially on the two weekends preceding Election Day,” a Trump campaign news release says.

According to a program overview, Believers and Ballots encourages the Christian voting bloc to “ensure Christian voices and values are prominent in public life for America’s foreseeable future.”

Christians can sign up to be a “Church Captain” to organize prayer calls and voter registration for their congregation, the overview describes.

“We don’t punish prayer. We don’t tear down crosses. We don’t ban symbols of faith. We don’t muzzle preachers and pastors,” Trump said in a statement. “In America, we celebrate faith, we cherish religion, we lift our voices in prayer, and we raise our sights to the Glory of God.”

Describing the importance of the Christian voting bloc during a recent Turning Point Action conference in West Palm Beach, Florida, Trump said, “I don’t want to scold you, but did you know that Christians do not vote proportionately? They don’t vote like they should.”

“If you don’t vote, we’re not gonna win the election,” he stated. “If you do vote, we’re gonna win in a landslide too big to rig. We’re gonna win in a landslide.”

Trump previously promised to establish a task force to combat the pervasive “anti-Christian bias” should he again become President of the United States.

“Joe Biden has weaponized the Justice Department to viciously prosecute pro-life activists,” Trump said during a June event.

He added, “I will also create a new federal task force on fighting anti-Christian bias.”

“Its mission will be to investigate all forms of illegal discrimination, harassment, and persecution against Christians in America. And it’s taking place at a level that nobody can believe. We’re like a country from a different country. This is not America anymore that we are living in,” he stated.

“Americans of faith are not a threat to our country; Americans of faith are the soul of our country,” Trump declared.
