Trump Issues ‘Unconditional Surrender’ Ultimatum to Iran

President Trump declared on Truth Social that Iran must accept an “unconditional surrender” while discussing the future of the country.

“There will be no deal with Iran except UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER! After that, and the selection of a GREAT & ACCEPTABLE Leader(s), we, and many of our wonderful and very brave allies and partners, will work tirelessly to bring Iran back from the brink of destruction, making it economically bigger, better, and stronger than ever before,” he wrote. “IRAN WILL HAVE A GREAT FUTURE. ‘MAKE IRAN GREAT AGAIN (MIGA!).’ Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

Meanwhile, President Trump told Reuters that the United States must be involved in the process of selecting Iran’s next leader. “We’re going to have to choose that person along with Iran. We’re going to have to choose that person,” he said.

“We want to be involved in the process of choosing the person who is going to lead Iran into the future, so we don’t have to go back every five years and do this again and again,” Trump explained. “We want somebody that’s going to be great for the people, great for the country.”

The president similarly told Axios that he must “be involved in the appointment” of killed Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei’s successor. “They are wasting their time. Khamenei’s son is a lightweight. I have to be involved in the appointment, like with Delcy in Venezuela,” he said, emphasizing that Khamenei’s son is “unacceptable to me.” Trump added, “We want someone that will bring harmony and peace to Iran.”

President Trump previously indicated that Iran’s expected line of succession has been “wiped out.”
