Trump’s Iran Strikes Nobel Peace-Worthy

Former Democratic House Judiciary Committee chief counsel Julian Epstein praised President Donald Trump’s military strikes against Iran during an appearance on Fox News Live Sunday, calling the operation a “miraculous achievement” for global peace and stability. Epstein asserted the actions were significant enough to merit the Nobel Peace Prize.

“I think first we have to step back and think what a miraculous achievement this really was,” Epstein said. He described the strikes as possibly “the most important day for world peace this century,” especially for Israel, comparing it to the nation’s founding and even the Six-Day War. He warned that had Iran succeeded in obtaining a nuclear weapon, it would have been “the modern day equivalent of giving Hitler a nuclear weapon.”

Epstein emphasized the global stakes involved, stating the successful operation removed what he called “the greatest threat to world peace” from a dangerous and “maniacal regime.” He credited President Trump with executing a strategy that prevented catastrophe and restored stability to the region. “It is, I think, worthy of the Nobel Prize if it is successful,” he said.

Addressing the potential for Iranian retaliation, Epstein described Iran as “a caged animal” likely to lash out in desperation. He suggested Tehran might target Saudi Arabia or disrupt global energy markets but warned such actions would be reckless and self-defeating. “If they don’t come to the table, they’re going to face much, much more severe consequences,” he concluded.

Epstein’s comments reflect growing bipartisan recognition of the significance of Trump’s actions in curbing Iran’s nuclear ambitions and preventing wider conflict in the Middle East.

Epstein’s remarks come amid heightened global attention on Iran’s nuclear ambitions and growing bipartisan concern over the regime’s threat to regional and global stability. Supporters argue that Trump’s decisive military action not only neutralized an imminent danger but also sent a clear message to hostile regimes worldwide. Critics, however, remain divided on the long-term impact, warning of potential escalation. Still, Epstein’s endorsement as a former top Democrat legal advisor underscores the broader recognition of the strike’s strategic and diplomatic significance.
