TRUMP’S PROCLAMATION OF THE CONFERENCE:

- He alluded to a perceived bias in investigations, asserting that authorities “never went after those that Rigged the Election.”
- He went on to claim that they “only went after those that fought to find the RIGGERS.”
- After Trump was indicted in Georgia, the Trump campaign released a statement, reading, “The legal double-standard set against President Trump must end. Under the Crooked Biden Cartel, there are no rules for Democrats, while Republicans face criminal charges for exercising their First Amendment rights.”
- “These activities by Democrat leaders constitute a grave threat to American democracy and are direct attempts to deprive the American people of their rightful choice to cast their vote for President,” the statement continued. “Call it election interference or election manipulation—it is a dangerous effort by the ruling class to suppress the choice of the people. It is un-American and wrong.”
BACKGROUND:
- Georgia State Senator Colton Moore (R) initiated an effort to scrutinize Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, who recently indicted Trump.
- Moore wrote a letter to Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, which says, “We, the undersigned, being duly elected members of the Georgia House of Representatives and Georgia Senate, and comprising 3/5 of each respective house, hereby certify to you, in writing, with a copy to the Secretary of State, that in our opinion an emergency exists in the affairs of the state, requiring a special session to be convened under that section, for all purposes, to include, without limitation, the review and response to the actions of Fani Willis.”
