Tennessee Names Bridge After Trump

Tennessee has unveiled the President Donald J. Trump Bridge in Dandridge along Interstate 40. The naming aligns with a law passed by the Tennessee General Assembly naming several bridges and roads.

“It was an honor to join the official unveiling of the President Donald J. Trump Bridge along Interstate 40 in Dandridge, Tennessee with @MarshaBlackburn, @timburchett, @RepFaison, and members of the Trump family, including Elizabeth and Ann Marie,” said Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent. “When Tennesseans sent @POTUS back to Washington with the largest mandate in state history, they knew the promise of his pro-growth agenda because its principles have driven people there in droves. In many ways, Tennessee embodies the best of what President Trump is building nationally as we place American workers, manufacturers, and families back at the core of our policies where they belong.”

Similarly, Florida unveiled the newly renamed Palm Beach International Airport as the President Donald J. Trump International Airport.

The bill, SB 706, was passed by the Florida Senate in a 25-11 vote. The vote came shortly after the companion bill, HB 919, passed in the House 81-30. According to the legislation, “The airport located at 1000 James L Turnage Boulevard in West Palm Beach, or nearest thereto, currently known as the ‘Palm Beach International Airport,’ shall be renamed as the ‘President Donald J. Trump International Airport,’ subject to approval of the Federal Aviation Administration and execution of an agreement with the rights holder authorizing the commercial ‘President Donald J. Trump International Airport’ by Palm Beach County.”
