Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America is partnering with Women Speak Out PAC to spend $3.2 million in Iowa during the 2026 midterm elections to support pro-life candidates.
The organizations said the funding will be used to contact more than 500,000 voters by Election Day in an effort to boost pro-life conservatives, including Rep. Ashley Hinson, who is running for an open U.S. Senate seat, and Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, who is seeking reelection.
Both lawmakers have been endorsed by SBA Pro-Life America and received A+ ratings on the group’s National Pro-Life Scorecard for their voting records on abortion-related legislation.
SBA Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser praised Hinson’s record and legislative efforts.
“Ashley Hinson is a tremendous champion for unborn babies and their mothers and will hit the ground running in the U.S. Senate upon the retirement of pro-life Senator Joni Ernst,” Dannenfelser said. “She introduced the Pregnant Students’ Rights Act to ensure that moms on campus are informed of life-affirming resources.”
Dannenfelser criticized Democrats for prioritizing abortion access and said pro-life leaders are needed to counter what she described as extremism in Washington.
She also praised Miller-Meeks for her advocacy.
“Mariannette Miller-Meeks understands every life is precious and consistently votes and speaks out to protect the unborn and women from abortion,” Dannenfelser said. “As a physician, veteran, legislator, and mom, she is a tireless advocate for Iowans and all Americans.”
Dannenfelser added that both lawmakers played key roles in passing the Working Families Tax Cut Act, which she said reduced federal funding for abortion providers.
“It is crucial to elect bold pro-life leaders to the House and Senate, as well as a strong pro-life governor to succeed Kim Reynolds,” she said. “Democrats will spend millions to defeat pro-life candidates and restore taxpayer funding for abortion businesses.”
The Iowa ground campaign will be led by state director Marlene Downing and will focus primarily on Des Moines, Davenport, and Cedar Rapids. The organizations plan to deploy hundreds of canvassers and concentrate on pro-life voters who do not consistently participate in midterm elections, along with undecided voters.
The effort will include door-to-door outreach, digital advertising, voter contact mail, and an expanded early-voting campaign.
SBA Pro-Life America said the Iowa initiative is part of a broader $80 million national investment for the 2026 midterms. The organization plans to reach more than 10.5 million voters nationwide in competitive races through what it describes as the largest grassroots pro-life voter contact program in the country.
