Son of Second Would-Be Trump Assassin Arrested on Child Pornography Possession

The son of the second alleged would-be assassin for former President Donald Trump has been arrested for possessing child pornography.

Investigators searched Oran Routh’s residence “in connection with an investigation unrelated to child exploitation,” charging documents say.

Several electronic devices were seized as part of the search. “Hundreds” of child pornography files were also discovered on an SD card.

Some of the children depicted in the material were as young as 6.

When commenting on his father’s arrest, Routh said “every reasonable” person hates the 45th U.S. President.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Oran Routh said, “I don’t like Trump either,” explaining that if his father “wants to be a martyr to how broken and disassociated the [electoral] process has become from the real problems and practical solutions, then that’s his choice.”

“I’m not saying that’s what he’s done or what he’s about, that’s just my own rant being fed up with it all for my entire adult life,” he said.
