San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa crashed an interview to display his “Make America Great Again” hat.
While NBC sideline reporter Melissa Stark began interviewing quarterback Brock Burdy, running back Isaac Guerendo, and tight end George Kittle, Bosa appeared behind them to display his hat for the cameras. Bosa’s teammates can be seen smiling and laughing after he exits the frame.
According to reports, NBC cut the clip of the MAGA hat from their X post of the interview. The edited content was later removed from social media.
When asked about his interview crash, Bosa said, “I’m not gonna talk too much about it, but I think it’s an important time.”
In 2019, former President Donald Trump congratulated Bosa after being picked number two in the NFL Draft.
“Congratulations to Nick Bosa on being picked number two in the NFL Draft,” Trump wrote on X. “You will be a great player for years to come, maybe one of the best. Big Talent! San Francisco will embrace you but most importantly, always stay true to yourself. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
