RFK Jr. to Choose Tech Entrepreneur Nicole Shanahan as Running Mate

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is expected to name Nicole Shanahan, attorney and tech entrepreneur, as his running mate in his independent bid for president in the upcoming elections.

Kennedy has said he will officially announce his pick later this month, but a source commented that Kennedy and Shanahan “align on numerous issues.”

“She might be infusing millions of dollars into the campaign to help fund the ballot initiative, which makes her attractive financially,” the source said.

While the Kennedy campaign has yet to comment on the matter, a website domain www.kennedyshanahan.com has been registered and a subdomain, pay.kennedyshanahan.com, is also live and accepting donations.

Shanahan, 38, is a tech entrepreneur in the Bay area and is a major donor to the Democratic Party.

The attorney reportedly funded RFK’s Super Bowl commercial replicating a spot that his uncle John F. Kennedy did in 1960.

She said that she felt the ad spot was a “great opportunity to highlight” that Kennedy is running for president.
