Robert F. Kennedy’s running mate, Nicole Shanahan, said that the Kennedy campaign is considering exiting the presidential race and endorsing Donald Trump.
Shanahan stated that the campaign is ultimately seeking to avoid a Harris presidency.
In an appearance on the Impact Theory podcast, Shanahan said, “There’s two options that we’re looking at, and one is staying in, forming that new party, but we run the risk of a Kamala Karris and Walz presidency because we draw votes from Trump.”
“Or we walk away right now and join forces with Donald Trump and, you know, we walk away from that and we explain to our base why we’re making this decision,” she explained.
Shanahan noted that Democrats have “banned us, shadow-banned us, kept off stages, used lawfare against us, sued us in every possible state, they even planted insiders into our campaign.”
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. condemned the Democratic Party on social media last week, writing that it is the “party of censorship, lockdowns, and medical coercion.”
“I’ve spent years battling government corruption and lies,” he added. “VP Harris spent years gaslighting Americans about the health of our Commander in Chief.”
“I have no plans to endorse Kamala Harris for President. I do have a plan to defeat her.”
