Protest Convoy Surrounds New Zealand’s Capital

Vehicles barricaded New Zealand’s capital city of Wellington Tuesday, as protesters demand an end to vaccine mandates.

QUICK FACTS:

• New Zealand’s Parliament in Wellington was met with hundreds to thousands of vehicles Tuesday, including cars, trucks and motorbikes demonstrating against the current mandates in the country, Breitbart reported.
• The convoy remained outside the capital city for hours, with a number of flags and demonstrators holding signs with slogans reading, “Stop the mandate #Freedom,” and “Take Back Our Rights.”
• Vehicles appeared to peacefully disassemble later in the afternoon, with no reports of arrests from Wellington police.

“ New Zealand’s leftist Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has declined to meet with the convoy, saying she is too “busy” to meet her opponents.”
