Possible Trump 2024 Victory of ‘Great Concern’ to WEF Elites

Global leaders gathering in Davos, Switzerland for the World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting have voiced concern about a potential Trump 2024 presidential victory.

“You know, we’ve been there before, we survived it, so we’ll see what it means,” BlackRock Vice Chairman Philipp Hildebrand told Bloomberg in an interview.

“Certainly, from a European perspective, from a kind of globalist, Atlanticist perspective, it’s of course a great concern,” he said.

European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde also said that another Trump presidency is a “threat.”

January 15 was the first day of the WEF meeting.

“At a time when global challenges require urgent solutions, innovative public-private collaboration is necessary to convert ideas into action,” said Former Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway Børge Brende. “The Forum provides the structure for developing research, alliances and frameworks that promote mission-driven cooperation throughout the year. Next week’s Annual Meeting will serve as an accelerator of that cooperation, deepening connections between leaders and between initiatives.”

“Stakeholders from across the world must gather to build #trust and foster solidarity,” he wrote on X. “I’m proud that we will host discussions on a wide range of topics as we look to find solutions to the challenges that we all face. This includes the urgent need to revitalize global #trade as an engine of prosperity.”
