Paramount Global, the parent company of CBS, Paramount Pictures, and Showtime, is reportedly set to lay off hundreds of employees.
According to a Deadline report, Paramount’s layoffs will affect nearly every division, with senior executives given reductions to hit.
The layoffs will reportedly begin February 1.
In 2023, Paramount cut 25 percent of its employees across multiple media outlets, along with shutting down the longtime running MTV News.
The cuts come as Hollywood has seen a number of companies layoff employees – including Disney, NBCUniversal, Amazon MGM Studies, and Universal.
