Anti-Israel protesters gathered outside of Union Station, replacing the American flag with the Palestinian flag.
The protests came as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu prepared to speak before the House of Representatives and Senate.
“All three American flags at Union Station in DC have been taken down, burned, and replaced with Palestinian flags by Pro-Palestine Kamala Harris supporters,” on X user wrote.
Protesters also burned the American flag.
Other protesters chanted, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” and, “There is only one solution, intifada resolution.”
Some carried signs advocating for a “final solution.”
