WATCH: Black Americans Debunk Liberal Talking Point That Voter ID Is ‘Racist’: ‘They’re Ignorant’

As Democrats continue to push back against GOP efforts to require identification for voters, claiming such a standard is “racist,” on-the-street reporting from 2016 by Ami Horowitz has again become relevant.

Horowitz took to the streets of Berkeley, California, to ask white liberals about their views on voter ID, and, to no surprise, they all said the requirement was racist. Some of the reasons they gave as to why included black Americans’ apparent lack of access to the Internet, lack of access to the DMV, and a general lack of knowledge about how to access identification.

“These type of people don’t live in areas with easy access to DMVs and other places where they can get identification,” one man argued.

A female said, “For most of the communities, they don’t really know what is out there, just because they’re not aware, or they’re not informed.”

Another woman said it was racist that convicted felons are not allowed to vote, suggesting most convicted felons are black. “If when we look at a swing state like Florida, that’s a huge population of the African-Americans,” she said.

VIDEO: Why Are ‘Experts’ Disagreeing With Each Other Over Covid Vaccine?

Even the establishment experts seem to be in total disagreement with each other – and often with themselves – over the experimental Covid “vaccine.” Does it prevent the illness? Lessen the illness? Provide lasting immunity? Temporary immunity? Is it safe for all? So many questions, but so few reliable answers.

Today on the Liberty Report:

Goodbye War on Terror, Hello Permanent Pandemic

What happened to the War on Terror? World leaders have swapped it out for a new narrative: the permanent pandemic, where society will be controlled under the guise of “pathogen vigilance.”

Those in positions of power have long recognized that conditions of fear and panic furnish exploitable opportunities to restructure society. COVID-19 is certainly a textbook example of this observation, illustrating that well-tuned fear campaigns can persuade many people to abandon essential medical and individual freedoms.

One of the key elements in the propagandist’s toolkit for perpetuating fear is repetition, particularly if the fear messages come from different directions and sources and are cloaked in a veneer of officialdom and respectability.

Thus, in the first few months of 2021, we have seen a proliferation of admonishments telling Americans that pandemics pose an “existential threat” to the United States and are here to stay.

‘Existential threats’ — history repeats

In January, a bipartisan commission released a dramatic 44-page report calling for an “Apollo Program for Biodefense,” explicitly comparing the proposal to the efforts that first landed humans on the moon. The commission laid the groundwork for its report in 2015, when it published a National Blueprint for Biodefense.

Russia’s Lavrov Warns of Surging Anti-White Racism in U.S.

Asserts that forces within U.S. are trying to impose a “cultural revolution.”

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov says there is surging “aggression against white people” in the United States and that it is harming efforts to fight racism.

Lavrov made the comments during an interview with political scientists that was broadcast on national television.

“We were pioneers of the movement promoting equal rights of people of any skin color,” said Lavrov, adding that “everyone wants to get rid of racism.”

However, he emphasized how it was important “not to switch to the other extreme which we saw during the ‘BLM’ (Black Lives Matter) events and the aggression against white people, white U.S. citizens.”

Lavrov also insisted that forces within the U.S. were trying to spread a “cultural revolution” around the world by forcing “diversity” down everyone’s throats.

“Hollywood is now also changing its rules so that everything reflects the diversity of modern society,” he said, labeling it “a form of censorship.”

Chinese Communist Party Shuts Down, Confiscates All Property From Church.

The Chinese Communist Party shut down and seized property belonging to a church in China’s Chongqing municipality.

The confiscation of all of Mt. Olive Church’s property, even including chairs and books, was carried out by over 30 Chinese Communist Party officials from the local police, state security, and local district administration.

“The Texas-based non-governmental organization China Aid reported the same group of officials, led by the Yuzhong District Ethnic and Religious Affairs Bureau, raided the church during its worship service last Sunday. The authorities sent the members home and sealed the church without showing any papers to prove official authorization,” the Christian Post adds.

More Than a Million Illegal Immigrants Expected to Cross Border in 2021: Official

Border Patrol official estimated that more than 1 million illegal immigrants are expected to arrive at the U.S.-Mexico border in 2021 as the White House grapples with how to find facilities and process them.

“We’re already starting to see some higher days of 6,000-plus apprehensions,” Raul Ortiz, deputy chief of the U.S. Border Patrol, told reporters. “So I fully expect our border patrol agents to encounter over a million people this year.”

Border Patrol apprehended approximately 100,000 illegal immigrants in February, which is the highest number since February 2019, Ortiz said. He noted that people try to illegally cross into the U.S. between April and June.

A facility in Donna, Texas, holds about 4,100 people, with many of them being unaccompanied children, Reuters reported. Border Patrol official Oscar Escamilla told Reuters that some 2,000 unaccompanied children have been held there for more than 72 hours, which is the legal limit.

“It’s out of my hands,” he said. “For whatever reason, they have fallen through the system or through the cracks.”

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Wednesday issued a statement criticizing human smuggling attempts into the United States.

“The inhumane way smugglers abuse children while profiting off parents’ desperation is criminal and morally reprehensible,” Mayorkas said. “Just this month, a young girl died by drowning, a six-month-old was thrown into the river, and two young children were dropped from a wall and left in the desert alone.”

Trump calls for boycott of MLB, Coke, and all woke companies

Former President Trump called for a boycott of Major League Baseball after it decided to move its All-Star Game out of Georgia in protest of the state’s new bill signed into law that tightens voting restrictions.

“Baseball is already losing tremendous numbers of fans, and now they leave Atlanta with their All-Star Game because they are afraid of the Radical Left Democrats who do not want voter I.D., which is desperately needed, to have anything to do with our elections,” Trump said in a statement released by Save America PAC.

“Boycott baseball and all of the woke companies that are interfering with Free and Fair Elections. Are you listening Coke, Delta, and all!” he added, referencing other companies that have criticized the new law.

The rebuke is the latest from a Republican over MLB’s decision to move its July 13 game out of Atlanta.

MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred said in a statement that the decision was “the best way to demonstrate our values as a sport” in light of Gov. Brian Kemp’s (R) signing of the legislation.

“Major League Baseball fundamentally supports voting rights for all Americans and opposes restrictions to the ballot box,” Manfred said in a statement announcing MLB’s decision.

CNN: Limit ‘Freedoms’ of Americans Without Covid-19 Vaccination

  • “The window to do that is really narrowing,” she says
  • “If you are vaccinated, you can do all these things. Here are all these freedoms that you have,” she added

A CNN analyst says Biden should curtail the freedoms of Americans who haven’t received a Covid-19 vaccination, stating that there’s a “narrow window” for him to act before more states start lifting lockdowns.

CNN analyst Leana Wen asked “Because otherwise, if everything is reopened, then what’s the carrot going to be? How are we going to incentivize people to actually get the vaccine?”

“So that’s why I think the CDC and the Biden administration needs to come out a lot bolder and say, “If you are vaccinated, you can do all these things. Here are all these freedoms that you have,” she continued. “Because otherwise, people are going to go out and enjoy these freedoms anyway.”

“The window to do that is really narrowing,” Wen added. “[All these states are] reopening at 100%. And we have a very narrow window to tie reopening policy to vaccination status.”

Wen made the statement on March 10, but it gained notoriety on Thursday when it was spread on Twitter.
