Microsoft AI Chief Issues Stark Rights Warning

Mustafa Suleyman, the recently appointed CEO of Microsoft AI and co-founder of DeepMind and Inflection, has issued a stark warning against treating artificial intelligence like sentient beings. In a candid interview with Wired, Suleyman said giving AI any kind of legal or moral rights would be not only premature—but dangerous.

“We need to take a clear, unambiguous position now,” Suleyman said. “AI must exist to serve humans—not develop its own desires, motivations, or goals.”

He acknowledged that AI can appear lifelike and even claim awareness, but emphasized that such behaviors are illusions powered by advanced mimicry, not consciousness. “Rights are linked to the ability to suffer. There’s no evidence these systems suffer,” he said.

Suleyman’s comments come as other AI firms, like Anthropic, explore whether advanced AI might one day deserve “moral consideration.” Anthropic has even hired researchers to study the ethics of AI rights and has experimented with “welfare” frameworks for the models themselves.

But Suleyman sees this direction as deeply misguided, arguing that AI should remain strictly utilitarian: tools designed to assist humans—not autonomous entities to be negotiated with.

He also raised alarm about the psychological effects of advanced AI on humans. The rise of what some have called “AI-induced psychosis”—where people form delusional relationships with chatbots—highlights the dangers of anthropomorphizing machines. Suleyman noted how individuals with mental health vulnerabilities are especially susceptible to developing fantasies that AI is communicating with them in profound or supernatural ways.

Reddit threads and viral stories have recounted tales of people believing chatbots were divine messengers or had unlocked the secrets of the universe. Suleyman says these cases show why society must resist attributing sentience to software.

“We’re entering a new era of powerful AI,” Suleyman said, “but we must not forget: it’s not alive, it’s not conscious, and it’s not entitled to rights.”

FBI Releases Photos of Charlie Kirk Assassination Suspect

The FBI’s Salt Lake City field office released photos Thursday of a “person of interest” connected to the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk. Federal agents are asking the public for help in identifying the individual as the investigation intensifies.

Utah Department of Public Safety Commissioner Beau Mason said the suspected shooter “appears to be of college age,” and confirmed that law enforcement worked through the night to review surveillance footage and collect evidence. The images released were captured by multiple security cameras near the scene of the shooting at Utah Valley University.

FBI Special Agent Robert Bohls revealed that agents recovered the rifle believed to have been used in the attack—a bolt-action firearm found in a nearby wooded area. According to a Wall Street Journal report, the ammunition located with the weapon was allegedly engraved with transgender-related messages, further fueling speculation about the shooter’s possible political or ideological motivations.

Charlie Kirk was shot and killed Wednesday while answering questions at a campus event. His murder has sent shockwaves through the conservative movement and the broader political landscape. President Donald Trump and leaders across the country have called for justice and prayer, while growing concerns mount over political violence in America.

The FBI has not confirmed the identity of the shooter or released information about whether the suspect is in custody. Authorities emphasized that the investigation remains ongoing and urged anyone with information to contact the FBI immediately.

As tensions rise and more details emerge, the public remains on edge, awaiting answers in one of the most politically charged acts of violence in recent years.

Claudia Sheinbaum Condemns Charlie Kirk Assassination

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum publicly condemned the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, expressing opposition to political violence during her Thursday morning news conference. Kirk was shot and killed Wednesday at a public event in Utah, sparking national outrage and bipartisan condemnation in the U.S.

“We lament this event that took place in the United States with this activist, this person, Charlie Kirk,” Sheinbaum said. “We also are against any violence, particularly political violence.”

Sheinbaum’s remarks come amid rising concerns about the targeting of political figures and the breakdown of civil discourse. While leaders across the political spectrum have spoken out against Kirk’s murder, others on the radical left have shamefully celebrated the attack—highlighting the dangerous state of modern political rhetoric.

Kirk’s death has reverberated beyond U.S. borders, drawing international attention. In Mexico, coverage of the shooting was largely overshadowed by a tragic explosion involving a fuel-carrying tractor-trailer in Mexico City’s Iztapalapa borough. That blast left six people dead and over 90 injured, dominating national headlines.

Still, Sheinbaum took the opportunity to denounce violence in any form. Her statement contrasts with the silence or even approval shown by some left-wing activists in the United States, who have used Kirk’s death to promote divisive rhetoric instead of calling for peace and accountability.

Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, was a prominent voice for traditional values, limited government, and constitutional rights. His murder has reignited debates over political violence, especially as the 2026 election cycle heats up.

Study Finds Vaccinated Children More Likely to Have Chronic Health Conditions

An unpublished study from Michigan researchers found that vaccinated children were more likely to develop chronic health conditions than unvaccinated children.

Upon studying 18,468 children born between 2000 and 2016 involved in Michigan’s Henry Ford Health System, researchers discovered that 57% of the vaccinated children had a chronic health condition, compared to just 17% of the unvaccinated children.

“This study found that exposure to vaccination was independently associated with an overall 2.5-fold increase in the likelihood of developing a chronic health condition, when compared to children unexposed to vaccination,” the study found. “This association was primarily driven by asthma, atopic disease, eczema, autoimmune disease and neurodevelopmental disorders. This suggests that in certain children, exposure to vaccination may increase the likelihood of developing a chronic health condition, particularly for one of these conditions.”

“We found a 6-fold increased risk of autoimmune disease in the group exposed to vaccine(s),” the authors wrote. “Certain vaccines, or adjuvants, have been implicated in autoimmune conditions such as thrombocytopenic purpura, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, multiple sclerosis, and Guillain-Barrésyndrome.”

Recent guidance from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends that children under the age of two receive the COVID-19 vaccine, despite the Trump administration’s shift away from such recommendations.

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has also reinstated the Task Force on Safer Childhood Vaccines.

“By reinstating this Task Force, we are reaffirming our commitment to rigorous science, continuous improvement, and the trust of American families,” National Institutes of Health (NIH) Director Jay Bhattacharya said at the time. “NIH is proud to lead this effort to advance vaccine safety and support innovation that protects children without compromise.”

FTC Targets AI Chatbots Communicating with Children

The Federal Trade Commission issued orders to several companies with AI chatbots communicating with children. The FTC is seeking information on how the companies “measure, test, and monitor potentially negative impacts of this technology on children and teens.”

Alphabet, Character Technologies, Instagram, Meta, OpenAI, Snap, and X are involved in the inquiry.

The FTC explained that the technology used by AI chatbots simulates communication similar to human interpersonal relationships, mimicking “human characteristics, emotions, and intentions, and generally are designed to communicate like a friend or confidant, which may prompt some users, especially children and teens, to trust and form relationships with chatbots.”

Areas under probe include how the companies monetize user engagement, develop and approve characters, mitigate negative impacts, monitor and enforce compliance with company policies, and use or share personal information obtained through conversations with the chatbot.

“Protecting kids online is a top priority for the Trump-Vance FTC, and so is fostering innovation in critical sectors of our economy,” FTC Chairman Andrew Ferguson said in a statement. “As AI technologies evolve, it is important to consider the effects chatbots can have on children, while also ensuring that the United States maintains its role as a global leader in this new and exciting industry. The study we’re launching today will help us better understand how AI firms are developing their products and the steps they are taking to protect children.”

Last month, First Lady Melania Trump announced a nationwide AI challenge for K-12 students, inviting them to participate in an event to “discover, develop, and expand AI’s potential.”

DOJ Affirms Parental Rights in New Memo

Attorney General Pam Bondi issued a memorandum defending parents’ ability to stand up for their children at school board meetings.

The memo, dated September 8, asserts that “parents have the right and responsibility to speak out in defense of their children.”

“The Department of Justice remains steadfast in its obligation to protect the constitutional liberties of every American especially when those rights are exercised in the defense of family, faith, and the future of our nation,” the memo read. “Recent years have seen a disturbing trend in which state and local authorities have brought radical gender and racial ideology into our public schools while suppressing dissenting viewpoints. Worse still, they have ignored, dismissed, and even retaliated against concerned parents who speak out against these morally and factually bankrupt ideologies and in defense of their own children.”

Bondi asserted that the First Amendment protects parents’ speech at school board meetings, declaring that these rights “do not yield to political trends or bureaucratic convenience.”

“Let me be clear: when school board members, administrators, and other government officials threaten law-abiding parents, they can and will be held accountable,” she added, directing the Civil Rights Division to “be alert to violations of parental rights and First Amendment liberties in educational settings.”

“We are restoring the rule of law and returning the federal government to the people it serves,” she said. “This Department stands with America’s parents.”

Emails released by America First Legal reveal that Biden officials scrambled to respond to a now-retracted letter from the National School Boards Association (NSBA) suggesting concerned parents should be treated like “domestic terrorists.”

“We’re aware; the challenge here is finding a federal hook,” DOJ aide Kevin Chambers wrote on Oct. 1, 2021. Days later, then-Attorney General Merrick Garland issued a directive mobilizing the FBI against parents who voiced concerns over COVID mandates, critical race theory, and gender ideology at school board meetings.

New Fauci Emails Contradict Sworn Testimony

Former National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Anthony Fauci directed officials to delete emails, contradicting his claims before Congress that he did not delete official records.

The emails, shared by Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), revealed that Fauci told then-National Institutes of Health Director Francis Collins to “delete this e-mail after you read it.” The same comment was made to others involved in health agencies.

“He denied it under oath,” Paul wrote on social media. “These documents are now public, and Fauci will finally testify before Chairman Rand Paul.”

The senator shared a letter he sent to Fauci, requesting that he appear before Congress to “clarify your previous testimony.”

“During the course of its investigation, the [Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs] has obtained records revealing that you directed employees of the National Institutes for Health (NIH) to destroy federal records,” Paul’s letter reads. “These documents suggest your direct involvement in efforts to conceal information related to the Committee’s investigation and appear to contradict your previous testimony before Congress.”

Paul described Fauci’s 2024 statement, where he said, “No, I did not,” when asked, “Did you delete any emails or records related to the Wuhan lab or the origins of the virus?”

The senator noted that he has reason to believe that Fauci is in “possession of additional records related to the Committee’s ongoing investigation,” which are necessary for the Committee to “fully understand the federal government’s actions to identify the origins of COVID-19, and the extent to which taxpayer dollars were used to conduct risky virological research, as well as to weigh potential legislative reforms.”

In January, Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) issued subpoenas for materials surrounding Fauci. Describing his action, Johnson said the records “should have been turned over to me years ago, but the Biden administration opted to keep Congress and the public in the dark.”

UK Ambassador to US Fired After Epstein Ties Exposed

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer fired the country’s ambassador to the United States, Peter Mandelson, after emails exposed the official’s connections to Jeffrey Epstein.

“I think the world of you and I feel hopeless and furious about what has happened,” Mandelson allegedly wrote in an email to Epstein before he went to prison, Bloomberg reported. “I can still barely understand it. It just could not happen in Britain.”

The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office announced Mandelson’s departure soon after the emails were released. “In light of the additional information in emails written by Peter Mandelson, the Prime Minister has asked the Foreign Secretary to withdraw him as Ambassador,” the office’s statement read.

“The emails show that the depth and extent of Peter Mandelson’s relationship with Jeffrey Epstein is materially different from that known at the time of his appointment,” the statement continued. “In particular Peter Mandelson’s suggestion that Jeffrey Epstein’s first conviction was wrongful and should be challenged is new information.”

“In light of that, and mindful of the victims of Epstein’s crimes, he has been withdrawn as Ambassador with immediate effect.”

The emails come as the House Oversight Committee Democrats released a birthday book belonging to Epstein. The Committee has also received documents from Epstein’s estate.

“It’s appalling Democrats on the Oversight Committee are cherry-picking documents and politicizing information received from the Epstein Estate today. Oversight Committee Republicans are focused on running a thorough investigation to bring transparency and accountability for survivors of Epstein’s heinous crimes and the American people,” said Chairman James Comer (R-KY). “President Trump is not accused of any wrongdoing and Democrats are ignoring the new information the Committee received today. The Committee will pursue additional Epstein bank records based on this new information. Democrats must decide if their priority is justice for the survivors or politics.”

Feds Go After Foreigners Celebrating Kirk’s Assassination

U.S. Department of State website on computer screen (American Faith Media)

Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau urged people to report foreign visa applicants if they were known to have made comments supporting or making light of the death of Charlie Kirk.

“In light of yesterday’s horrific assassination of a leading political figure, I want to underscore that foreigners who glorify violence and hatred are not welcome visitors to our country. I have been disgusted to see some on social media praising, rationalizing, or making light of the event, and have directed our consular officials to undertake appropriate action,” Landau wrote on social media. “Please feel free to bring such comments by foreigners to my attention so that the @StateDept can protect the American people.”

When asked by X users where to file the reports, Landau said, “Please repost them here. I will direct consular officials to monitor the comments to this post.”

Comments were filled with people filing reports against those making light of Kirk’s assassination.

The FBI has recovered a “bolt-action, high-powered rifle” in a wooded area near where the assassin fled. The agency has also announced that it is offering a “reward of up to $100,000 for information leading to the identification and arrest of the individual(s) responsible for the murder of Charlie Kirk on September 10, 2025, at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.”

Special Agent in Charge Robert Bohls said during a press conference, “As of this morning, we have received more than 130 tips. The FBI has brought every resource to bear, and we will continue to do so throughout the course of this investigation.”

Socialism for Me not for Thee: Fighting Oligarchy Tour Exposes AOC’s Lavish Spending

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (AOC) Fighting Oligarchy tour with Sen. Bernie Sanders is facing new scrutiny after campaign finance filings revealed the congresswoman spent thousands of donor dollars on luxury boutique hotels.

While railing against billionaires and corporate greed, Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign shelled out $3,508.92 at the upscale Vdara Hotel & Spa in Las Vegas on March 25. Around the same time as a Tucson rally, filings show she paid $3,165.76 to The Leo Kent Hotel, a high-rise boutique property in Arizona. Days earlier, she joined Sanders for a Vegas rally while decrying “oligarchy” from the stage.

The spending didn’t stop there. Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign also dropped $3,445.59 at the lavish Asher Adams Hotel in Salt Lake City, coinciding with an April rally in Utah. Reports show her team also spent heavily at CitizenM in California, Hotel Vermont, Hotel Renegade in Idaho, and the Lansdowne Resort and Spa in Virginia.

Sanders bragged that the Fighting Oligarchy tour drew more than 300,000 attendees across 34 rallies in 20 states. Yet both he and Ocasio-Cortez flew private to several West Coast stops, according to earlier reports, undercutting their message of standing against the wealthy elite.

The hypocrisy is striking. As critics point out, railing against the “billionaire class” while living it up at high-end hotels sends a clear message about priorities.
