Olbermann Blames Trump for Boulder Terror Rampage

Leftist commentator Keith Olbermann is blaming President Donald Trump and the MAGA movement for Sunday’s terror attack in Boulder, Colorado, accusing the former president and his allies of creating an environment that led to the violence. The incendiary remarks came in a promo for Olbermann’s Countdown podcast, where he claimed Trump’s immigration policies are “a preliminary to ethnic cleansing.”

“It is Trump’s fault, it is Stephen Miller’s fault, it is MAGA’s fault,” Olbermann stated, referring to the firebombing at a pro-Israel rally that left multiple people injured. The attacker, Mohamed Sabry Soliman, a foreign national without legal status, was heard yelling anti-Israel slogans and is currently under investigation by federal authorities for terrorism.

Olbermann escalated his rhetoric, describing immigration enforcement as “a performance” and “sadism,” and accused Trump supporters of backing a campaign rooted in cruelty and authoritarianism. His comments included inflammatory references to “ethnic cleansing” and ICE agents as “Gestapo.”

President Trump, responding to the attack on Monday, condemned the firebombing as a terrorist act and blamed the Biden administration’s open-border policies for allowing dangerous individuals into the country. “We must immediately deport illegal, anti-American radicals,” Trump said.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also issued a statement, labeling the attack a “vicious terror attack” and linking it to rising global antisemitism. The assault in Boulder comes at a time when Jewish communities across the U.S. have reported increased hostility, which many argue is exacerbated by anti-Israel rhetoric in media and academia.

The suspect, Soliman, reportedly targeted attendees of the pro-Israel walk, shouting, “End Zionists” and “Palestine is free,” before launching Molotov cocktails at the crowd. The Department of Homeland Security and FBI are assisting in the ongoing investigation.
