National Security Agency Creates Woke Glossary

The National Security Agency (NSA) published a glossary providing definitions of terms used in “dialogue regarding diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice.”

The glossary, obtained by The Daily Wire, is designed to “build a shared language of understanding.”

Some of the terms in the glossary are “anti-racist,” “Brave Space,” “queer theory,” and “white fragility.”

According to the glossary, “whiteness” is a “broad social construction that embraces the white culture, history, ideology, racialization, expressions, experiences, epistemology, emotions, and behaviors, and reaps material political, economic, and structural benefits for those socially deemed white.”

In describing “settler colonialism,” the NSA’s glossary notes that it includes “oppressive governance, dismantling of indigenous cultural forms, and enforcement of codes of superiority (such as white supremacy).”

The glossary also includes numerous terms relating to gender ideology, such as “transgender,” “transition,” “transmisogyny,” “transphobia,” “transsexual,” and “Two Spirit,” which is defined as a “Native American term for individuals who identify both as male and female. In western culture these individuals are identified as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgendered.”

“Ze” and “Zir” pronouns are also defined in the glossary.

The NSA’s diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility website states that the agency’s DEI initiatives “inform our daily operations and shape our decisions as we seek new ways to make NSA a place where every employee is valued and respected as a vital part of a unified culture.”

“We understand that success happens when we rely on a diversity of skills and embrace the vast range of experience and perspective that results from a workforce composed of a variety of backgrounds, including race, cultures, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientation, age, and ability,” the website continues. “This is the essence of diversity and inclusion: seeking out those who are different from ourselves and leveraging their unique perspective to enhance our own understanding.”
