Kentucky businessman and Senate Republican candidate Nate Morris defined amnesty in a single word: “treason.” During an appearance on Fox & Friends Weekend, Morris, 44, urged full deportation of an estimated 20 million illegal immigrants who entered during the Biden administration, alongside a halt to new arrivals until the issue is resolved.
Asked about his goals beyond replacing the “McConnell establishment in Kentucky,” Morris reaffirmed his promise to deport “every single illegal immigrant in America.” He credited President Trump with sealing the border and called for a moratorium on new immigration. “We are full. We are absolutely full,” Morris declared. “The amnesty that is being pushed now by Republicans and Democrats is treasonous … amnesty is treason.”
Morris emphasized that an open border threatens not only American sovereignty but also Western civilization itself. “If America goes, the hope of the world is gone,” he asserted, framing immigration enforcement as a fight for national and global values.
Last month, Morris launched his Senate campaign with a populist message aimed at defeating Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell. In his announcement video, he criticized McConnell’s allies and framed himself as a political outsider ready to “clean up” Washington, referring to the state’s political culture as “dirty.” “It’s garbage day in Kentucky,” he declared. “I’m Nate Morris, a Trump, America First conservative—and I’m here to take out the trash.”
Morris’s hardline rhetoric places him firmly within the America First movement, emphasizing border security and strict immigration enforcement. His platform signals strong opposition to both Republican and Democratic efforts toward immigration reform that include amnesty provisions.
As Morris moves to secure the Republican nomination for the Senate, he is promoting a campaign rooted in populist conservatism and national loyalty—rejecting compromises on immigration, and pledging a full-scale removal of those in the country illegally.
