The House Judiciary Committee revealed that the Biden-era Department of Justice targeted more than 150 Republicans for investigation as part of the Arctic Frost probe.
“New Arctic Frost documents reveal even further wide ranging investigation by Biden’s DOJ to take down President Trump and his supporters,” the Committee wrote on X.
Documents released by the committee reveal that 45 individuals, including former Trump White House adviser Steve Bannon, Republican Pennsylvania Rep. Scott Perry, former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, former Trump DOJ official Jeffrey Clark and former Trump attorney John Eastman were “potentially under investigation,” as well as another 111 individuals, including trade adviser Peter Navarro, senior adviser Dan Scavino, former DOJ official Jeff Rosen, and DOJ weaponization czar Ed Martin.
The new records display threat tags used by the FBI, such as FRAUD CORRUPT”, “CORRUPT”, “PCORRUPT”, and “PCORRUPT_CAMP,” Just the News reports.
President Donald Trump responded to the revelation, declaring that the Biden-era officials should “all be investigated and put in prison. A disgrace to humanity. Deranged Jack Smith is a criminal!!!”
Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) recently released other documents pertaining to Arctic Frost, showcasing that Former Attorney General Merrick Garland and former FBI Director Christopher Wray were behind the probe’s approval.
The file, dated to April 2022, is listed as a “sensitive investigation matter,” meaning that Garland’s signature was necessary for the Washington Field Office to open the probe. The document sought to investigate individuals engaged in a “conspiracy to obstruct Congress’s certification of the Electoral College on January 6, 2020, including through the submission of fraudulent certificates of electors’ votes to the United States Government.”
