Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said that federal authorities have arrested more than 10,000 criminal illegal aliens in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
“PEACE AND PUBLIC SAFETY IN MINNEAPOLIS! We have arrested over 10,000 criminal illegal aliens who were killing Americans, hurting children and reigning terror in Minneapolis because Tim Walz and Jacob Frey refuse to protect their own people and instead protect criminals,” Noem said in a social media statement. “In the last 6 weeks, our brave DHS law enforcement have arrested 3,000 criminal illegal aliens including vicious murderers, rapists, child pedophiles and incredibly dangerous individuals. A HUGE victory for public safety.”
She noted that the “MASSIVE” fraud in Minneapolis involves at least $19 billion, and is “just the tip of the iceberg.”
“Our Homeland Security Investigators are on the ground in Minneapolis conducting wide scale investigations to get justice for the American people who have been robbed blind,” Noem wrote.
President Trump drew attention to the fraud scandal in Minnesota in a recent post on Truth Social, stating, “There is 19 Billion Dollars in Minnesota Somalia Fraud.” He went on to state that Rep. Illhan Omar (D-MN) is a “constant complainer who hates the USA, knows everything there is to know” and “should be in jail, or even a worse punishment, sent back to Somalia, considered one of the absolutely worst countries in the World.”
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey recently stated that ICE’s activities in the city are “unconstitutional.”
“You can’t come into a city and discriminate solely on the basis of: ‘Are you Latino? Or are you Somali?’ And then randomly pick people up off the street after that,” Frey told “Meet the Press” host Kristen Welker, adding, “I’m not asking for the DOJ to be abolished. I’m not asking for the Office of Management and Budget to be abolished. I am saying that the way that these institutions are being utilized right now by the Trump administration is wrong, and to be clear, is unconstitutional.”
