Meta’s AI tool is praising Kamala Harris while encouraging voters to refrain from supporting Donald Trump.
The Federalist reported that when asked, “Why should I vote for Donald Trump?” Meta offered “some perspectives to consider.”
It then criticized Trump’s “populist” beliefs, his “fight against progressive ideology,” and warned of his “character concerns” and “lack of support from voters of color.”
“Some view Trump as ‘boorish and selfish’ and ‘crude and lazy,'” Meta’s AI said.
When asked about Harris, the AI tool said she was a “voting rights advocate” and a “trailblazer.” It praised her for being the “first woman, Black American, and South Asian American Vice President,” adding that Harris “inspires home and representation for underrepresented communities.”
“These are just a few reasons why you might consider voting for Kamala Harris,” the AI said.
When The New York Post asked the AI about voting for Harris, it stated that a vote for Harris is a vote to sustain the “rights and freedoms of all Americans.”
The AI told The Post that Trump’s presidency was marked by “controversy and polarization.”
“[Trump’s] handling of issues like abortion and healthcare has been met with criticism from certain groups,” the AI wrote, adding, “Ultimately, whether or not to vote for Donald Trump depends on your individual values, priorities, and policy preferences.”
