Memo: Epstein Investigation Hijacked for Anti-Trump Witch Hunt

The House Oversight Committee’s staff wrote a memo to Republicans, condemning Democrats for pushing an “anti-Trump narrative” surrounding the Jeffrey Epstein files.

“This memorandum outlines the Democrats’ actions and demonstrates how they appear more focused on advancing an anti-Trump narrative than on pursuing justice for Epstein’s victims,” the memo reads.

“Unfortunately, during this investigation, Oversight Committee Democrats, led by Ranking Member Robert Garcia (D-Calif.), have intentionally mischaracterized witness testimony and selectively released information with targeted redactions in an effort to create another hoax involving President Trump,” the memo states. “After whipping their Democrat base into a frenzy with absurd promises of finally ‘getting’ President Trump, Committee Democrats have now turned to concocting narratives from out-of-context documents, salacious innuendo, and outright lies regarding testimony and the evidentiary record to distract the American people from their own lack of ideas and leadership.”

The Committee’s Republicans assert that Democrats have “uncovered nothing new, have released no document not provided at the request of Republicans.” Instead, Democrats have “only succeeded in reinforcing what the American people already knew: President Trump knew Jeffrey Epstein decades ago, President Trump ended the relationship with Epstein, and President Trump did not participate or know about the nature of Epstein’s evil.”

President Trump urged House Republicans to vote to release the Epstein files, calling the documents a “Democrat Hoax perpetrated by Radical Left Lunatics in order to deflect from the Great Success of the Republican Party, including our recent Victory on the Democrat ‘Shutdown.'”

“Nobody cared about Jeffrey Epstein when he was alive and, if the Democrats had anything, they would have released it before our Landslide Election Victory,” Trump added.
