- Meloni also gave a speech in 2019 that has recently gone viral, where she considered leftist ideology as being a grooming ground for “the perfect consumer.”
- “I cannot define myself as Italian, Christian, woman, mother,” she said, “I must be citizen X, gender X, parent 1, parent 2. I must be a number–because when I am only a number…then I will be the perfect slave at the hands of financial speculators. The perfect consumer.”
