Kamala Harris Posts Thanksgiving Message, Draws Attention for Recycled Appearance

Vice President Kamala Harris, alongside second gentleman Doug Emhoff, released a Thanksgiving message Thursday expressing gratitude for U.S. service members and reflecting on the spirit of the holiday.

In the video, posted to X, Harris and Emhoff encourage Americans to reflect on their blessings, share family stories, and give thanks to those who serve the nation.

“Today, we come together to reflect on what we are thankful for and to share our appreciation for one another, surrounded by family, friends, and those we cherish,” Emhoff said.

“On Thanksgiving, we also express our gratitude as a nation for our service members and their families who sacrifice so much to protect our nation and our most sacred values,” Harris added, before concluding with a warm holiday wish.

The seemingly heartfelt video, however, drew swift attention for Harris’s outfit and the background, which appeared identical to a video released earlier in the week. That message, delivered Tuesday, featured Harris urging supporters to protect their political power.

Critics were quick to notice the overlap, suggesting the Thanksgiving message may not have been filmed specifically for the holiday.

“I’ve seen that outfit recently,” noted Wills Robinson, a political editor with the Daily Mail.

Stephen Miller, a contributing editor with the Spectator, remarked: “She couldn’t even give an authentic Thanksgiving message. Same outfit. Same slurring. Same bad Marriot hotel room curtains. Incredible content.”

Other observers questioned the effort behind the message, with one commenter jokingly asking, “Do they have her locked in some compound with one outfit?”

Despite the criticism, Harris’s message continued a tradition of vice presidents addressing the nation during the Thanksgiving holiday, focusing on themes of gratitude and togetherness.
