The Iranian Prince, 65-year-old Reza Pahlavi, declared that with the support of the Iranian people, the opposition movement can “overthrow the Islamic Republic system.”
In a social media statement to his “fellow compatriots,” Pahlavi declared that Iran’s former Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, whom he called a “demonic figure,” has been “eliminated.”
“My message to the remaining officials of this Republic of Terror is this,” he wrote, stating, “Surrender to the people of Iran. Declare your loyalty to my program and the Transition System. And hand over power without further bloodshed.” Pahlavi noted that any attempts by the regime’s remnants to “appoint a successor to Khamenei” are “doomed to fail from the outset. Whoever they place in his stead will not only lack legitimacy but will also be complicit in the crimes of this regime.”
Addressing the “noble and brave people of Iran,” the Iranian prince wrote, “The death of the Zahhak of our time marks the beginning of our great national celebration, but it is not the end of the road. Stay vigilant. Stay prepared. The time for a massive and decisive presence in the streets is drawing very near.”
Meanwhile, to Iranians abroad, Pahlavi wrote, “I ask that you redouble your efforts,” urging them to “[c]onvey to the world the Iranian people’s support for this humanitarian intervention, and our demand for the regime’s total collapse.”
“Critical days lie ahead. Together, we will traverse the path to victory. And we will overthrow the Islamic Republic system,” he concluded.
Last month, Pahlavi urged President Trump to take action in Iran, calling such intervention “humanitarian.”
Speaking to Maria Bartiromo of Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures,” Pahlavi explained that the “president should also know that they have also kept on killing and killing and killing,” referring to the Iranian regime. “That’s why an intervention is so necessary because the first ask of Iranians today, at home and abroad, is asking for help. This intervention is a humanitarian intervention to save lives that will otherwise also continue to be lost.”
