Turning Point USA Frontlines reporter Savanah Hernandez revealed that illegal immigrants are using Facebook pages to sell fake IDs and advertise human smuggling operations.
Several Facebook pages host digital flyers that detail how an illegal immigrant can activate Uber Eats, Doordash, and Instacart accounts.
Hernandez spoke to a human smuggler who uses Facebook to advertise his services, promising to smuggle illegal immigrants across the border “fast, easy, and secure” for $7,500.
One page has almost 100,000 followers and regularly posts videos of smuggling efforts.
Illegal immigrants can also purchase fake IDs through “online flea market” Facebook pages.
If a migrant purchases an activated food delivery account, they can “work in the US,” Hernandez reported, noting that one woman offered to rent out an account for Doordash for $500.
Criminal gangs have also been seen openly selling fake IDs on the streets of New York City.
Individuals across Queens were observed advertising the false documents for $80-$250 by the New York Post.
In another incident, one salesman told a reporter that the cards “work.” To make an ID, the individual said he needed “your name, your whole name, your age . . . I can take your picture.”
Although the social security cards are fake, the numbers are real and affect U.S. citizens.
