Hunter Biden sat for an interview with Tucker Carlson, where he called President Trump an “existential threat” to the United States.
“The one existential threat we face as a country is Donald Trump. I am not this believer that Trump is merely the symptom of a disease. I believe that Trump is central to why this disease has gone from a local epidemic to a pandemic in the United States of America,” Biden said.
Carlson responded to Biden’s comments by criticizing President Trump’s actions against Iran, which he claimed would “only diminish America’s power and bankrupt us.”
The two also discussed the infamous Biden laptop, reports The New York Post.
“They hacked my cloud,” Biden told Carlson, adding, “There’s no possible way all of the information that was eventually labeled as my laptop came from one laptop. It’s way too large.” He went on to claim that “not one single thing of criminal activity other than use of drugs and all of the things that are associated with addiction is proved by the laptop.”
Hunter Biden has separately acknowledged that his father’s pardon for him changed his trajectory. “I’m completely biased as it relates to what my dad did for me. I fully understand how uniquely situated I am in being privileged enough to have received a pardon from my father,” Biden said in an interview published by the outlet MediasTouch.” He made similar comments to Don Lemon last month, noting, “If my dad had not pardoned me, then Donald Trump would have his claws into my family for however long he held power.”
