Actors Mark Wahlberg and Mario Lopez, alongside pop icon Gwen Stefani, are encouraging their fans to turn to prayer this Christmas season by using the Catholic prayer app Hallow.
In a recent video posted to social media, Wahlberg and Lopez appeared together in front of a wooden cross, each delivering a brief but heartfelt message to their followers.
“Happy Sunday, everybody, God bless you,” Wahlberg said in the video, standing beside Lopez. The Saved by the Bell actor followed with, “God bless, and stay prayed up, God bless,” before tagging the Hallow app in the post.
Meanwhile, Gwen Stefani shared her own message in a separate video promoting the prayer app. In the ad, the No Doubt frontwoman emphasized the spiritual significance of the holiday season.
“It is important this holiday season to spend time in prayer,” Stefani said. “That is what Christmas is all about, letting God into our hearts, and letting Jesus bring us His peace.”
The singer went on to invite her fans to join her in daily prayer through Hallow. “Download Hallow today and join me and millions of others in praying every day this Advent and Christmas season on Hallow,” she said.
Stefani previously promoted the app during last year’s holiday season, urging her nearly 18 million Instagram followers to participate in 25 days of prayer leading up to Christmas.
Hallow has become a popular digital resource for those seeking to deepen their faith, particularly around major Christian holidays. Last year, Wahlberg led a prayer featured in a Super Bowl commercial for the app, helping expand its reach to a broader audience.
Hollywood star Chris Pratt has also shown support for Hallow, revealing that he listens to Father Mike Schmitz’s “Bible in a Year” podcast, one of the app’s most popular offerings.
With celebrities from film, television, and music now voicing their support, Hallow appears to be gaining traction not only as a faith-based tool but as a mainstream spiritual companion during the holidays.
