French Homes Spray Painted With Stars of David

An estimated 60 Stars of David were stenciled and spray painted on homes in France.

French officials have called it a parallel to “the 1930s.”

According to Sky News, the mayoralty of Paris’ 14th arrondissement said the Stars of David “recall the events of the 1930s… which led to the extermination of millions of Jews.”

Emmanuel Grégoire, the deputy to Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo, said an investigation will be launched into the matter.

“Antisemitism continues to kill,” he said. “We will never give up the fight.”

Former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett tweeted, “In Paris, Jewish stores have been labeled with Stars of David. As if 80 years have not passed.”

“The distance between the massacre in Beeri Kibbutz and the streets of Paris is shorter than you think. Yes, the west is next,” he added. “Israel is fighting radical Islamic terror on its borders. If we don’t stop this terror here and now, you’ll get these massacres in Paris, London and New York City. We have only one option: total victory.”

“Some want to terrorize French Jews by using the methods of the 1930s. They must be quickly found and severely punished,” the Union of Jewish Students of France (UEJF) shared.

The BBC reported that graffiti was also found in the suburbs of Vanves, Fontenay-aux-Roses, Aubervilliers, and Saint-Ouen.

Some of the Stars of David were paired with phrases such as, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will win.”
