Fox News’ Hannity Calls Out CNN’s Tapper: ‘Choose Your Lane’

Fox News host Sean Hannity sharply criticized CNN anchor Jake Tapper this week, labeling him a “liberal talk show host pretending to be a journalist.”

“Hannity always known for being charitable,” Tapper remarked during his show “The Lead with Jake Tapper,” poking fun at Hannity’s reputation.

During a segment discussing President Joe Biden’s recent State of the Union address, Tapper questioned the Republican response, highlighting the contrast between pre- and post-speech commentary.

In a critical retort on his own show, Hannity didn’t hold back, suggesting Tapper lacked significant viewership to warrant a response and reiterated his characterization of Tapper as a liberal masquerading as a journalist.

Hannity’s criticism of Tapper followed scrutiny he faced himself after commenting on Biden’s State of the Union address, where he described the president as “jacked up” and criticized his delivery, a departure from his usual claims about Biden’s age and mental state.

President Biden addressed concerns about his age and mental acuity ahead of the 2024 presidential election, a move that appeared to provoke Hannity’s critique.
