Former U.S. Gymnast Launches Athletic Brand for Biological Women

Jennifer Sey, a former U.S. gymnast, launched a clothing line focused on protecting women’s sports.

The line, XX-XY Athletics, was announced on X.

“Today I’m launching my own clothing brand. It’s the only athletic brand to stand up for female athletes and the protection of women’s sports,” Sey wrote on the social media platform. “It’s called XX-XY Athletics. I hope you’ll join us.”

“It is simply undeniable that sex matters, especially in sport. It is the single biggest determinant of athletic performance,” XX-XY Athletics’ website reads. “Men and women are different. It’s just a fact. Men have XY chromosomes and more testosterone which makes them stronger and faster.”

“It is simply unfair and dangerous at times, to allow males (XY) to compete in girls and women’s (XX chromosomes) sports,” the site asserts.

“For women to be recognized as champions and simply to be afforded the chance to compete on an even playing field — and avail themselves of all of the vast educational and developmental opportunities that competing in sports provides — women’s sports need to remain female.”

“We’ll be here defending truth. And women and girls. Until that happens,” the website continues, “stand with us.”

Former NCAA swimmers Paula Scanlan and Riley Gaines, de-transitioner and activist Chloe Cole, and others are ambassadors for the clothing line.
