Former Trump Advisor Now Foreign Agent for Ukraine

One of Donald Trump’s former advisors, Kellyanne Conway, has registered as a foreign agent of Ukraine, according to records from the National Security Division.

Conway signed a $50,000-per-month contract with the Victor Pinchuk Foundation to lobby lawmakers in support of Ukraine.

Her role will be to “explain the importance of Ukraine,” Make efforts to “convince US lawmakers, experts and opinion makers, to attend the annual meeting of Yalta European Strategy in Kyiv on September 13 -14,” make efforts to have U.S. leaders speak at events related to the Yalta European Strategy, “contribute to raising awareness among US decision makers of Ukrainians’ fight for freedom and the Russian illegal war of aggression,” “assist with organising meetings of Ukrainian soldiers and veterans with US political leaders to share their insights,” and assess the progress of U.S. officials’ perception of Ukraine.”

The contract began on July 25 and will continue through November 14.

Conway served as senior counselor to Trump from 2017-2020.

Last week, the Pentagon announced another aid package to Ukraine, valued at $1.7 billion.

The package will supply Ukraine with a range of military hardware, including missile and air defense ammunition, artillery shells, small arms, and explosives, as well as gear for communications and electronic warfare, as per the Pentagon’s announcement.
