New files released by Sens. Ron Johnson (R-WI) and Rand Paul (R-KY) expose that an FDA official requested that Dr. Anthony Fauci send reports pertaining to adverse events connected to the COVID-19 study.
An email dated May 27, 2021, reveals that then-Acting Commissioner of the FDA, Dr. Janet Woodcock, wrote to Drs. Anthony Fauci and Francis Collins, having received reports of vaccine side events. “I have been contacted by a number of people who have experienced adverse events post COVID-19 vaccination (from all three of the current vaccines). Many are healthcare professionals, some of whom I know,” she wrote in the email.
“The symptoms do not fit together into a distinctive syndrome and most are not easily quantifiable or evaluated with standard laboratory testing,” Woodcock added. “Clearly during mass vaccination you will get a lot of psychological reactions and it is hard to sort these things out. But the peoples’ main complaint is that no one takes them seriously, no one knows how to treat them, and there is no effort to study this.” She noted that such reactions are “not the sort that a system like VAERS would be able to detect.”
“I doubt the industry would support, for obvious reasons,” Woodcock added. “But my experience is, that if you let a problem fester, then it will come back to bite you later and you are not prepared.”
Fauci asked Collins in a separate email, “Janet [Woodcock] asks what we think of this? We cannot ignore her.”
The latest email exposure comes on the heels of one that revealed that Fauci knew there were links between COVID-19 vaccine-related health issues and pregnancies.
“I asked around a bit more, and another issue came up that you need to be aware of,” Fauci wrote in response to an email from former health officials on vaccine-related problems. “Since many people have significant cytokines storm and fever after the 2nd dose, this theoretically could be associated with miscarriage in the 1st trimester,” he added in a subsequent message.
