FBI Arrests Wisconsin Judge Hiding Illegal Immigrant

The FBI has arrested a Milwaukee, Wisconsin, judge who is believed to have helped an illegal immigrant evade federal immigration officers.

“Just NOW, the FBI arrested Judge Hannah Dugan out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin on charges of obstruction — after evidence of Judge Dugan obstructing an immigration arrest operation last week,” FBI Director Kash Patel wrote on X. “We believe Judge Dugan intentionally misdirected federal agents away from the subject to be arrested in her courthouse, Eduardo Flores Ruiz, allowing the subject — an illegal alien — to evade arrest.”

“Thankfully, our agents chased down the perp on foot and he’s been in custody since, but the Judge’s obstruction created increased danger to the public,” he wrote.

After the allegations against the judge surfaced, State Rep. Bob Donovan (R) said in a statement, “In all my years of Milwaukee politics and public safety issues, working with cops, district attorneys, and judges, I have never seen a more irresponsible act by an officer of the court, let alone a judge, if true.”

“This borders on obstruction of justice and I hope the FBI continues a thorough investigation and, if warranted, prosecution to the fullest extent of the law,” Donovan said earlier this week.

Dugan’s arrest follows former New Mexico Magistrate Judge Joel Cano and his wife, Nancy Cano, being taken into custody on Thursday after allegedly allowing a Tren De Aragua gang member to reside on their property.

Cristhian Ortega-Lopez, who illegally entered the U.S. near Eagle Pass, Texas, in December 2023, was released due to overcrowding at a Border Patrol facility. He later met Nancy Cano while performing home repairs and was offered accommodation in the couple’s guesthouse.
