The Clinton-affiliated 25-year FBI veteran Agent Timothy Thibault exhibited “political bias.”
QUICK FACTS:
- Former voter fraud investigation Assistant Agent in Charge (ASAC) Timothy Thibault was escorted out of FBI Headquarters after coming under political scrutiny for circumventing investigations into voter fraud.
- Thibault suppressed partisan information from FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland in order to obtain approval to lead an investigation into Donald Trump.
- The manipulated information Thibault presented to Director Wray and General Garland was from a politically “left-aligned organization.”
- Some of the suppressed information is affiliated with Hunter Biden’s laptop, an investigation where Thibault also concealed vital details.
- Republicans claimed Thibault took part in a scheme meant to obscure evidence that would have incriminated the Biden family during his month-long leave-of-absence, hiding details found in the laptop.
RESPONSES TO THIBAULT’S CORRUPTION:
- Upon hearing of the political bias, Trump called the investigation “IRREPARABLY TAINTED” on Truth Social.
- “Declare the rightful winner, or hold a new Election, NOW,” Trump stated. “Our Country, which is failing badly, knows the ’score,’ and will never accept Criminal Election Interference. The FBI just fired its Special Agent In Charge of this outrageous & very illegal assault on the Constitution of the United States of America!”

- Senator Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) wrote a letter to Attorney General Garland and Director Wray in July addressing Thibault’s behavior, saying that “highly credible whistleblowers” provided information suggesting that the FBI falsely portrayed “acquired evidence as disinformation” in the Hunter Biden probe.
- “ASAC Thibault allegedly ordered the [Hunter Biden] matter closed without providing a valid reason as required by FBI guidelines,” Senator Grassley wrote, before claiming Thibault “improperly [marked] the matter in FBI systems so that it could not be opened in the future.”
