Far-Left Denver Mayor Says His City ‘Can’t Handle’ Migrant Surge

Denver Mayor Michael Hancock said that the liberal-run city can’t handle the influx of illegal immigrants.

“The reality is that we have over 700 migrants that have — and asylum-seekers that have come to our city over the last several months,” Hancock said. “It’s stressing our system, it’s stressing our shelters in the city of Denver.”

  • Earlier this week, Fox News reporter Bill Melugin shared a video showing more than 1,000 illegal immigrants entering the United States from Mexico during the night.
  • The caravan crossing into El Paso, Texas, was described by Melugin as “the largest single group” he had ever seen.
  • “The city of El Paso reports Border Patrol now has over 5,000 in custody & has released hundreds to city streets,” Melugin said.
  • Last week, Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents apprehended hundreds of migrants along the border wall near Lukeville, Arizona in three separate groups. When asked why he would not be visiting the border while visiting Arizona, President Joe Biden said there were “more important things going on.”
