Elon Must said during an interview with psychologist Dr. Jordan Peterson that he lost his son from the “woke mind virus.”
Musk’s son considers himself to be transgender.
The Tesla CEO claimed he was “tricked” into agreeing to “gender-affirming care” for his son during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“I was essentially tricked into signing documents for one of my older boys, Xavier. This was before I had really any understanding of what was going on.”
Musk stated there was a “lot of confusion,” adding that he was told his son might commit suicide if he did not support the transition process.
He added that people who are “promoting this should go to prison.”
“My son Xavier is dead, killed by the woke mind virus,” Musk declared. “I vowed to destroy the woke mind virus after that, and we are making some progress.”
Although Musk has been a critic of radical gender ideology, his social media platform, X, reinstated policies that censor posts āmisgenderingā individuals.
“Where required by local laws, we will reduce the visibility of posts that purposefully use different pronouns to address someone other than what that person uses for themselves, or that use a previous name that someone no longer goes by as part of their transition,” the X policy reads. “Given the complexity of determining whether such a violation has occurred, we must always hear from the target to determine if a violation has occurred.”
