Elon Musk has invited Vice President Kamala Harris for an interview on X.
Following his interview with Donald Trump, Musk wrote on the social media platform, “Happy to host Kamala on an 𝕏 Spaces too.”
Harris has not scheduled an interview since being the Democratic nominee for President.
After Musk’s interview with Trump, the Harris campaign released a statement calling Trump’s agenda “dangerous.”
“Donald Trump’s extremism and dangerous Project 2025 agenda is a feature not a glitch of his campaign, which was on full display for those unlucky enough to listen in tonight during whatever that was on X.com,” the statement read.
“Trump’s entire campaign is in service of people like Elon Musk and himself – self-obsessed rich guys who will sell out the middle class and who cannot run a livestream in the year 2024,” it continued.
In another statement, the Harris campaign criticized Musk for “using his purchased platform — one of the largest social media sites in the world — to spread Trump’s unhinged and hateful agenda to millions of users.”
The statement then asked for $25 donations to “help Kamala and Tim have the resources to respond to their lies.”
Sixteen million viewers listened to the interview in real time. By the time the interview finished and clips were distributed, its reach was nearly 1 billion.
