The incident comes just weeks after a migrant plowed a car through a crowd in Munich, Germany, injuring 27 people.
“We are shocked by a terrible attack in Munich,” German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said at the time. “An Afghan perpetrator drove into a demonstration. Many people are injured, some very seriously. Our thoughts are with the victims and their families. The perpetrator must feel the full force of the rule of law.”
