Donald Trump visited his granddaughter at school for “Grandest Friends Day.”
In a video posted by Lara Trump, the former president’s granddaughter, Carolina, took Trump by the hand and walked him around the classroom.
“When top priority is showing Grandpa your desk at school,” Lara Trump wrote.
“Hey Carolina, show him your desk. Show grandpa,” she says.

The video was praised on social media.
“Trump showing up for the people who matter the most, no matter how small. Class act,” one user tweeted.
Turning Point USA Founder Charlie Kirk compared Trump and his granddaughter to Joe Biden, who did not acknowledge Hunter Biden’s estranged child for years.

Contrast that with Joe Biden who refused to recognize his own granddaughter for 4 years. pic.twitter.com/bzf37kevSo
Biden recognized the estranged daughter of Hunter Biden for the first time in four years in July.
“Our son Hunter and Navy’s mother, Lunden, are working together to foster a relationship that is in the best interests of their daughter, preserving her privacy as much as possible going forward,” Biden said.
“This is not a political issue, it’s a family matter,” the President continued. “Jill and I only want what is best for all of our grandchildren, including Navy.”
Biden has repeatedly refused to acknowledge Navy in the past, frequently claiming he only had “four granddaughters.”
