The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is looking to hire “high-IQ revolutionaries” who are willing to work “80+ hours per week.”
“We are very grateful to the thousands of Americans who have expressed interest in helping us at DOGE. We don’t need more part-time idea generators. We need super high-IQ small-government revolutionaries willing to work 80+ hours per week on unglamorous cost-cutting,” the new agency wrote on X. “If that’s you, DM this account with your CV. Elon & Vivek will review the top 1% of applicants.”
Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy will head the DOGE.
Trump said the two entrepreneurs “will pave the way for my Administration to dismantle Government Bureaucracy, slash excess regulations, cut wasteful expenditures, and restructure Federal Agencies — Essential to the ‘Save America’ Movement.”
Trump declared that the agency will become, “potentially, ‘The Manhattan Project’ of our time.”
“Their work will conclude no later than July 4, 2026 – A smaller Government, with more efficiency and less bureaucracy, will be the perfect gift to America on the 250th Anniversary of The Declaration of Independence,” he added. “I am confident they will succeed!”
