Democrats Spend Nearly $80 Million in Attack Ads

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) spent $79 million in ads targeting Republican Senate candidates in swing states.

Several of the Republicans targeted include Arizona’s Kari Lake, Wisconsin’s Eric Hovde, Pennsylvania’s Dave McCormick, and Michigan’s Mike Rogers.

The ad against Lake claims that she is supported by “white supremacists and Holocaust deniers,” Politico reported, while an ad against Hovde portrays him as a California banker buying a Senate seat.

Another ad, against Rogers, criticizes him for taking money from Big Pharma and other entities.

The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) is also investing millions of dollars in ads.

According to reports, the NRSC plans to spend $100 million on advertising. Some of its expenditures target Ohio, Nevada, Michigan, and Arizona.

One of its ads focuses on Rep. Elissa Slotkin (D-MI), who provided stimulus checks to prisoners.
